# Delete Agent

> Delete an agent. Its phone lines stay, detached from the agent.

Delete an agent. Its phone lines are kept but detached (`agent_id` becomes `null`). Existing calls and their recordings are not deleted. Deleting cannot be undone.

## Request

### Headers

**Authorization** `string` *required*

Bearer token with your API key (scope `agents`)

### Path

**agentId** `string` *required*

The agent `id` (UUID)

## Response

## Errors

| Status | Code | Meaning |
| - | - | - |
| 404 | `AGENT_NOT_FOUND` | No agent with this ID in your workspace |
| 502 | `AGENTS_UPSTREAM_UNAVAILABLE` | The call runtime could not remove its copy. The agent was not deleted. Retry shortly |
