# Get Recording

> Stream a call's recording as WAV audio

Stream the audio of a recorded call as WAV. The file is proxied through 60db, so you only need your API key. A call is recorded when `record` is `true` in its settings: the agent's `call_defaults`, or the call's `overrides`.

The audio is stereo: the caller is on the left channel and the agent is on the right. Add `mix=1` for one mixed channel.

## Request

### Headers

**Authorization** `string` *required*

Bearer token with your API key (scope `agents`)

### Path

**callId** `string` *required*

The call `id` (UUID)

### Query Parameters

**mix** `integer`

`1` returns one mixed mono channel. Omit it for the stereo file

**download** `integer`

`1` sends the file with `Content-Disposition: attachment`, so browsers save it

## Response

**200 OK**. The response body is `audio/wav`.

| Header | Value |
| - | - |
| `Content-Type` | `audio/wav` |
| `Content-Length` | Set when the call runtime sends it |
| `Content-Disposition` | `attachment; filename="call-{callId}.wav"` when `download=1` |

## Errors

| Status | Code | Meaning |
| - | - | - |
| 404 | `CALL_NOT_FOUND` | No call with this ID in your workspace |
| 404 | `RECORDING_NOT_FOUND` | The call was not recorded, its recording was deleted, or the recording is not ready yet |
| 503 | `RECORDING_UNAVAILABLE` | Recordings are temporarily unavailable. Retry shortly |

## Example

```bash cURL theme={null}
curl -L "https://api.60db.ai/agents/calls/CALL_ID/recording?download=1" \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer your-api-key" \
  -o call.wav
```

```javascript JavaScript theme={null}
const wav = await client.agents.calls.recording(callId, { mix: true }); // ArrayBuffer
```

```python Python theme={null}
audio = client.agents.calls.recording(call_id, mix=True)  # bytes
# or save straight to a file:
client.agents.calls.save_recording(call_id, "call.wav")
```
