# Top-up Quote

> Preview how many credits a USD amount buys at the workspace's current plan rate

Returns the credits a top-up of `amount` USD would buy, using the workspace's current plan rate. Use it to show a live preview for a custom amount. Nothing is charged and no state changes.

The server always computes credits. Clients never send a credit amount.

```text theme={null}
credits = floor(amount_usd × plan monthly_credits / plan price_usd)
```
