# 60db Flow Team

> Share a 60db Flow Lifetime Team licence with up to 3 people: invite by email, accept, and manage seats

## Overview

**60db Flow** is voice dictation for your computer (macOS, Windows and Ubuntu): speak, and it types into any app.
The **Lifetime Team** plan is one purchase with **3 seats**. The buyer holds the first seat and invites up to two
teammates **by email**. Each seat gets unlimited dictation in the 60db Flow app, under fair use.

    On the **home page** (60db Flow · Lifetime Team card) or in **Billing → 60db Flow**, the owner types an email
    and clicks **Send invitation**. The card shows `1 of 3 used · 2 available` and every seat as **Invited** or **Active**.

    * **No 60db account for that email:** an account is created (with its own workspace and the Free plan) and the
      invite email carries a **Set your password** button.
    * **Existing account:** the invite email carries an **Open 60db** button.
    * In both cases the invitee is added to the owner's workspace as a **member** and a pending seat is reserved.

    After signing in, the invitee sees a **60db Flow invitation** card on their home page (and in the Flow app) with
    **Accept** and **Decline**. Declining frees the seat for the owner.

    Sign in to the 60db Flow app with the invited email. The seat lives in the owner's workspace; the app lists it under
    workspaces with Flow access and offers to switch to it.

## How to invite a teammate

    1. Sign in to [app.60db.ai](https://app.60db.ai) with the account that bought **Lifetime Team**.
    2. On the **home page**, find the **60db Flow · Lifetime Team** card (also in **Billing → 60db Flow**).
    3. Type your teammate's email in the field and click **Send invitation**.
    4. The seat appears as **Invited** and the counter updates, e.g. `2 of 3 used · 1 available`.
    5. Your teammate gets an email. Once they accept, the seat shows **Active**.

    2. List seats with [List seats](/api-reference/flow/list-seats).
    3. Invite with [Invite by email](/api-reference/flow/invite-seat) — body `{ "email": "teammate@company.com" }`.
    4. Cancel or remove with [Remove seat](/api-reference/flow/remove-seat).

    1. Open the invite email. New to 60db? Click **Set your password** first; otherwise click **Open 60db**.
    2. Sign in. On your **home page** (or in the Flow app) the **60db Flow invitation** card shows **Accept** / **Decline**.
    3. Click **Accept**.
    4. Download the 60db Flow app, sign in with the same email and switch to the invited workspace when the app offers it.

<Note>
  You no longer pick an existing workspace member from a list: invite **any email**. People who are not in your
  workspace yet are added to it as members automatically when you invite them.

## Managing seats

| Action | Who | Result |
| - | - | - |
| Send invitation | Owner | Reserves a seat (Invited) and emails the invitee |
| Cancel invite | Owner | Removes a pending invite and frees the seat |
| Remove | Owner | Takes away an active seat; the person stays a workspace member but loses Flow access |
| Accept / Decline | Invitee | Seat becomes Active / seat is freed |

When all 3 seats are used, remove a seat or cancel an invite before inviting someone else.

<Warning>
  Invitees join the owner's workspace as **members**. Members can also use that workspace's credits for paid services
  (for example Text-to-Speech). Dictation in the 60db Flow app itself is free for seat holders.

## Rules and limits

* Only the licence **owner** (the buyer) can invite, cancel or remove seats.
* **3 seats** per Lifetime Team licence, including the owner's.
* Disposable email providers are rejected.
* Up to **20 invitations per hour** per owner.
* The licence must be active (not refunded, revoked or expired).

## API

The same actions are available over the API with the user's login token (API keys are not accepted for Flow).
